Animals are not aggressive or neurotic by nature, they are dealing with stress. Animals are removed from their families and become dependent on humans. Mommy animals feel the loss of their babies. Just like people, they come into life with their own underlying tension as well.
With animals we work on the spine. Using Metamorphosis on animals helps them let go of the effects of trauma or abuse. They become more relaxed and loving.
I have a cute story of a cat and a dog I met on a friends porch. I love all animals but relate best to cats. When I offer Metamorphosis to an animal, I put my hand out slowly. As I am moving my hand towards them I present the energy of Metamorphosis as an invitation to them. As I did this with the cat, I heard the cat say, “work on the dog”. The dog was jumping up and down and also saying “word on me”. I mentioned this to the woman whose house it was and she said, “the dog has cancer and the cat loves the dog”. I found it fascinating that they understood the potential of the work presented with the invitation in my hand.
Metamorphosis is about tuning-in when you work. Overtime, it became very easy for me to tune into animals and understand what they are communicating. I hear it as thought that is not mine – telepathy. It developed naturally with the practice of tuning-in regularly. We all have this ability, it is like a muscle. The more you use it the stronger the ability becomes.
